X-HOG PRO LED 940/850 NM IR Laser Flashlight

The simplest way to improve night vision performance is, of course, infrared laser illumination. The advanced Pro version of the X-Hog illuminator allows you to select the light wavelength, has smooth zoom adjustment, and a replaceable VCSEL laser diode. Low power consumption and a perfectly symmetrical light beam with a range of over 1000 m make the X-Hog Pro an excellent choice for demanding hunting. Unlike illuminators with a classic laser diode, the VCSEL diode does not heat up intensely during operation.

    The illuminator uses VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) diodes with wavelengths of 850 and 940 nm. The ability to select the range means that the illuminator can effectively support night vision imaging without startling game or being noticed by other hunters, or operate with the highest possible illumination efficiency.

    The VCSEL diode used is characterized by a low dependence of emitted waves on temperature and good current-optical efficiency. An important feature of the VCSEL diode is the low dependence of emitted waves on temperature. Unlike conventional LED emitters, only 3W is needed to power the VCSEL diode, so the illuminator does not overheat excessively during use. It is worth emphasizing that in the X-hog Pro laser illuminator, we can easily and, most importantly, change the laser diode module ourselves.

    The 850 nm infrared radiation range is large – over 1000 m, making the illuminator ideal for hunting and observations from a distance. The 940 nm radiation range guarantees maximum discretion, and the visible light provides the ability to comfortably illuminate hunted game. The X-Hog Pro illuminator is compatible with popular digital night vision devices such as Infiray TD50L, Pulsar C50, Hikmicro Alpex, Pard 008.

    The flashlight uses a convex lens and variable focal length (zoom), which allows for smooth adjustment of the infrared beam width. Depending on the situation, we can precisely focus the light at a distance of 1000 m or illuminate objects up to 100 m with a dispersed beam. We adjust the beam focus by extending the head. The hunter can also precisely adjust the light flux from 2% to 100%. The light intensity can be smoothly changed using the rotary switch at the back of the device. The X-hog Pro Laser Illuminator also has an LED battery level indicator, allowing for an approximate check of the energy reserve of the 18650 battery (not included).

    The body and head of the X-HOG flashlight are made of T6061 aircraft aluminum alloy, which is characterized by low weight, high resistance to mechanical damage, and insensitivity to weather conditions. The flashlight is comfortable and weighs only 170 g (with battery), so when attached to a weapon, its weight does not noticeably increase and it can be conveniently carried on a belt. The illuminator has an IPX6 water resistance rating, which means that the device can be used in any weather conditions.
